The line graph shows the number of visitors to Australia by overseas residents from the year 1975 to 2005. The table shows the countries of which they came from.

The line graph shows that 8.8 million victors in 1975 most of them were from japan with 3.2 million visitors, second was south Korea with 2.9 million visitors and the least amount of visitors was china with only 0.3million. in 1985 the number of visitors had increased to 16 million visitors then it increased again in 1995 with 24.5 million visitors. In 2005 it went up to 30.4 million visitors, with the same nationality order as before as most of them are from japan with 12.0 million visitors ,9.1 million visitors from south Korea and 0.8 visitors from china.

There was a constant increase in the number of the visitors to Australia during there 30 years and its still increasing till now .

task 4

A lot of people these days are arguing about driving while using mobile phones. Some researchers say it could be a major cause of accidents. While some others don’t believe that phones can be that dangerous. I will be writing about these two arguments and will show why people are for or against it.

This argument takes two point of views, the first is where people look at it as a major problem and believe research that says phones can cause accidents and take lives, It could distract the driver from focusing on the road, He also may talk with one hand and drive with the other one where he/she has less control on the steering wheel and the driver can lose control easily if something suddenly happened on the road. Texting is another reason why people are against mobile phones because the driver may spend 2 second at least focusing on phone and that will mean a lot of distance depending on the speed he's going at.
The other side of the argument is that some people believe that it is not that much of a big deal and they could use earphones or bluetooth speakers to use phones in the car and it won’t distract them from driving or focusing on the road.

In conclusion, I think the first side of the argument has a far better argument than the second, where safety comes first because driving a car needs all your attention and a split second could kill you if you dont pay attention.

task 3

There are a lot of studies about healthy life. However, many people claim that a balanced diet or eating balanced meals is the way to a healthy life. In this essay I will write the argument about a healthy life.
In one hand, a lot of people believe that the balanced diet or consuming balanced meals helps to reduce their weight and have a better body shape, for instance staying away from junk food and all kinds of sweets will be healthy. Also you can do some exercises,  for instance some people put in their mind that doing some exercise will help to avoid  consuming more food. Also herbal and natural medicine will do the same job.
On the other hand, some people don’t think that only food without some work out will give in any results. For example, walking for 10km per week will be enough, some people said. Also many people think that avoiding some kinds of food will not help even if it’s necessary .
In the end, I think that both sides are right because taking healthy food is not enough for some people but it might be enough for others. But also doing some workout and taking supplementary additives effects some people but not others.

portfolio task 6

Trade and travel would be a lot easier with a single global currency that we all use.

Some countries have more expensive currencies than other countries and that makes people with average or low incomes think twice about travelling to certain places and making their pay seem less than those of the other countries. As for people from rich countries when they exchange their currency they get so much that is probably a lot more than a month's salary in the poor countries so unifying the currencies would help in making everything equal and this is some sort of sense. at least there won't be any exchange rate offices and you have to take more time to exchange money and you go right away and buy anything anytime. Also online shopping will be much easier since there will be no more exchange rate problems and money will be accepted everywhere.

In the end.I think the world currencies should all be unified into one global currency
